In his career, John Pike has won awards from the American Watercolor Society, National Academy, Salmagundi Club among others and was invited by the National Gallery of Art and NASA to be an official artist on the Apollo Moon Shot. His art as received over 60 one-man shown and he was invited by the Metropolitan Museum of Art to hang in the "200 Years of American Watercolor" show. Also famous for his covers for the Readers Digest and Fortune, he created and ran the John Pike Watercolor School in Woodstock, NY for many years.
