Nu Art Royle Christmas and Holiday Greeting
Card XNUN9039HA 'The Luncheon of the Boating Party'' Size 8.25" x 5.875" This is
a top fold card. Select a standard greeting or compose the text to be
printed inside this card in your choice of typestyle and ink color. Up to 14
lines of text can be printed. Please note that the size of the type will be
determined by the number of lines to be printed. Impressionist artist, born in Limoges, C France. He first painted procelain and fans, began to paint in the open air c. 1864 and from 1870 obtained several comissions for portraits. He exhibited witht the Impressionists (1874-9, 1887). His picture of sunlight filtering through leaves - Le Moulin de lat Galette (1876, Louvre) - epitomizes his colourful, happy art. His visit to Italy in 1880 was followed by a series of "Bathers" in a more cold and Classical style. He then returned to reds, orange, and gold to portray nudes in sunlight, a style which he continued to develop until his death. Also available as blank stock for customer imprinting.
