The back of this card reads: "Over The Bridge" by Peter Bradshaw (1931-2004).

Peter Bradshaw was born in London. He grew up in Northampton where he attended school. His teachers quickly spotted his talent for drawing and painting and encouraged him to compete for a place at the local Art Cillege. He was admitted and studied there for two years. After leaving College Peter pursued horticulture, his other interest, and he spent the next twenty years in this field. He returned to painting as a hobby and was overhelmed by local response to his work. Soon after he started painting again Peter held exhibits in London at the Mall and at Christie's. About this time Peter introduced his "trademarks" of a cat and a robin in all his pictures - trademarks that have given him the designation the "Cat and Canary" artist!
